Good news on the computer front. I'll have my computer back tomorrow morning. I guess there was a problem with the wi-fi card. It only cost me $25 which is wonderful. This certainly shows me how addicted I am to my computer. I don't watch much TV but I spend a lot of time on the computer. Given the absolute CRAP that is network TV these days, I think I made the right decision.
I haven't done this for some time but I think it is time to sit down and write out some goals for myself. Jim Rohn teaches you write out everything you would like to accomplish and then put a date to them in increments of 1, 3, 5 and 10 years. I looked at some goals I wrote out back in 2006, many are still the same. I think the only one I accomplished was to move out to Arizona but it was supposed to be as a snowbird. Since it was the only thing I came close to accomplishing, I'm counting it. I also said I wanted to play tennis every week so I'm counting that one too. Pretty sad state of affairs to have only accomplished two goals in four years. But I guess that's why things are the way they are. Or maybe a better way of putting it in today's jargon, "it is what it is".
