Earthquake

I'm told during the earthquake in Baja, it was felt right here in Scottsdale. Lynn and I were outside by the pool talking to my brother on Easter when it happened. We didn't feel a thing. However a family member who was "sitting on the pot" said they felt it as it happened. None of us really thought much of it until we noticed a small crack in the cement by the pool is now a big crack in the cement by the pool. I guess I can say I was in an earthquake, I just wish I can say I felt it.

Tomorrow will be a work day for me at the new place. I will be washing down the walls. Once that is done, I imagine painting is on the way, followed by taking out the carpet and replacing it with tile. Once the those are done, we'll probably have to redo the counter top in the kitchen. We'll probably need to rent an ozone machine to get rid of the cigarette smoke. As I said before, it will probably take two to three weeks at the least to get everything "move-in" ready.
