Really looking forward to my photo shoot this week.

Headquarters of the Star Tribune newspaper in ...Image via WikipediaAs I've said before, I think theatrical photography is what I'm supposed to be doing with my life.  I love it. The parents love what I do. And I'm the best at it. I always have a hard time saying that. It must be my Minnesota upbringing that gets in the way of being a braggart. Although, I know some Minnesotans that don't seem to have any problem with bragging, it's one thing to brag about a specialty that not many folks are good at. It's another to offend everyone bragging about something everyone has in common. That's all I have to say about that. Anyway, I'm not ever going to give up on my dream of making Show Biz Photo into a full time job. But I have to be careful of what I pray for. For many years I prayed to leave the Star Tribune and become a full time photographer. That prayer was answered in a big way. I got what I wished for, it just didn't turn out to be anything like I thought it would be. I guess my prayer now would be that I be given ample opportunities and income at a level that allows me to be full time without having to struggle to pay my bills. Like I said, it's a dream but I've come to realize EVERYONE needs a dream. Without a dream there is no hope.
