Words cannot express how much I hate the Yankees! But I'll try.

Image via WikipediaI haven't given up on the Twins yet, it's only one game. All they have to do is win three out of four games. They've done it often enough during the season so there is no reason they can't now. But I am so sick of the Yankees. I respect them for being the most successful professional sports team in history, but that's it...I don't want them to win another game.
New Yorkers tend to drive me a bit batty anyway. First off, I hate the accent. The New York accent is very abrasive and crude sounding. People think a southern accent makes people sound like a hick. I think it's the New York accent. A southern accent is smooth, graceful and polite. New Yorkers are generally outspoken, rude and think everything in the world revolves around New York City. That's why I really don't have any desire to go visit New York City. Sure I'd like to see the tourist attractions but then I'd have to be in contact with way too many New Yorkers.
