As fun as last season was...

Brett Favre with the VikingsImage via WikipediaThis Vikings season has just been the exact opposite of last year. It's like a giant soap opera that is never ending. The good news is that it is ending. They seem to be a team that has gotten old rather quickly. If there is a season next year (there might be an NFL lockout) the Vikings need a quarterback. T-Jack just is not the answer. Neither is all the short term quarterbacks out there. The Vikings have made a living with these guys but at the end of the day, they need stability at that position. It was fun having Brett Favre last year. This year it's been tough to watch him get the crap beat out of him. He's still way better than T-Jack. Even on his worst day, he's still the better player. Favre has been a warrior and all good things must come to an end.  Was Tommy Kramer the last one to hold that position for more than three years? In any event, just like the dome, the Vikings are done for the season. Might as well lose the rest of their games to get a good draft pick and build for the future.
