It must be the confidence I have from winning the hardest serve contest. But I'm sure I will pay for it tomorrow, my shoulder is killing me.  Anyway, It's good to have a regular tennis partner so here are a few ideas to chew on.
TOP 10 THINGS THAT MAKE FOR A GOOD TENNIS PARTNER
10. Your regular tennis partner should be evenly matched but if possible, they should be a better player than yourself so you can improve. This is hard to find because if they are a lot better than you, they may not be interested in playing you on a regular basis.
9.  You should be similar in ability however more important, you need to have compatible styles of play. Let's face it, some people have a more boring but consistent style of play and if you like to hit impressive winners once in awhile you need a partner that fits your style.
8. Not only should your partner help make you a better player but they should be someone that you enjoy playing.
7.  You may not socialize off the court with your partner, after all you are spending time with each other, but you should be good enough friends so that meeting off the court would not be a problem.
6.  If you both are of similar ability, your tennis partner could also become a doubles partner very easily which can come in handy.
5.  You will know each others games so well you can offer tips and work on game strategy.
4. Your tennis partner won't mind if you play others because that is always a test to see if you've improved as a player.
3. Your tennis partner should not be a hot head. If you are both too competitive, it could be a problem each and every time you play. Yes, always play to win but you don't have to be a jerk about it.
2. Play each other honestly. Don't let up, don't give in and don't cheat on any of the calls. Resist the temptation to give your partner points.
1. Your tennis partner should be someone that can make you laugh while you are playing. Tennis is a fun sport and having the right partner should result in lots of laughs.
