5. Get to know people and their names
4. Be a team player, stay away from gripe sessions
3. Be willing to help anyone out at any time. No job is too small
2. Let your actions speak for you but it's okay to toot your own horn now and then
1. Stay Positive, Show Enthusiasm, Work Hard, Be Loyal
Comment: I'm noticed that companies like to take their best salesperson and make them into a manager. I've found that 9 out of 10 times, this is a big mistake. You take your best rep out of action and then plug them into a role with a totally different skill set. Self centered, ego driven people are the world's worst managers.
