You Never Know Until You Try...

Sometimes you make money, sometimes you don't. I would have to say that overall God has granted favor over me from the standpoint that I usually don't lose money on my photography. I didn't lose money this time either. But on the flip side, I didn't make very much. But it was a first time event for both me and the school so we really didn't know what to expect. When one of your best clients asks you to come out to give it a shot, you just don't turn them down. I'm sure I'll more than make up for it in Feb. when we do "Music Man". At the next show we are going to try something different. We're going to put up the background and lights and do professional portraits of each of the kids back stage while the show is going on. At the same time, I'll be shooting the action photos at the front of the stage. I usually capture every kid however, I can't do much about that one kid in the dancing in the back dark corner of the stage. This is something that will enhance my photo sales but to what extent? We'll see...
