
The bride wore a gown of white satin, ankle length, designed in a jacket effect. Her veil, made entrain, was worn in cap effect and was trimmed with a wreath of white pearl buds. She wore white slippers and carried an arm bouquet of sweet peas, roses and fern.
Miss Eleanor Fiefarek, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore an ankle length yellow lace gown with white accessories and carried a bouquet of sweet peas, and snapdragons. The bridesmaid Miss Lillian Sluka wore a yellow satin gown with white accessories and also carried a bouquet of sweet peas and snapdragons.
The flower girls was Dorthy Sluka who wore a pink organdy frock and carried a basket of sweet peas and ferns. Her headdress was a white floral wreath.
Emil Karnik, brother of the bride, and Earl Dobmeir, a friend attended the bridegroom. All were attired in navy blue suits
A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents at noon. The rooms tastefully decorated with pink, yellow and white streamers and a huge wedding bell. A large wedding cake formed the table centerpiece. The Misses Barbara Coufal, Frances Sluka, mary Coufal and Lillian Pitka, dressed in yellow and white crepe paper aprons with matching head bands, assisted with the serviing.
In the evening a wedding dance was given at the Lake Lillian hall and was attended by large number of relatives and friends all whom extended congratulations to the happy couple. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rock of Franklin, Mr. and Mrs Ludwig Fiefarek and family, and Mr and Mrs Joe Sluka and family of Blomkest, Mr and Mrs Charles Pitka and family, Mr and mrs Rud Karnik and family, Mr and Mrs Joe karnik and family, Mr and Mrs Emil Karnik and family, Mrs Phoebe Brtek and Joseph Karnik Sr., all of Olivia."
