Image via WikipediaSorry for the teaser headline but no, missions are always possible. At the church I attended this past weekend they were talking about missionaries in the field. Did you know they have identified 16,713 different people groups in the world. Of all those groups, 6,946 or 41.4 percent have yet to be exposed to the Gospel message. At the service they showed the world map of what is left. Looks like a ton of Muslim countries are left. Certainly that makes a lot of sense since not only will those countries not allow missionaries in but the are out to persecute and in come cases, out and out kill Christians.Two other bits of information I though was interesting was that for the first time EVER, more missionaries are coming to the United States than are leaving to go to other countries. Also in Western Europe, only 2 percent of the population bothers to go to church. Just goes to show, socialism and Christianity is not a good mix.
For those who think the end times are coming real soon. Keep in mind that one of the requirements of Jesus coming back is that all people groups will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel message.
