Organization
My latest set back kinda put me in a funk. It's like starting all over again. Since the heat has ended, I moved my office back upstairs instead of on the dining room table. If I can get my office organized, I hope the rest of my life will follow. I have a big week coming. I am the official photographer for the AZ Thespian Festival. I will also be speaking on "How to promote your show on a shoestring budget." For doing all this I get a free booth and lots of exposure. The problem out here in Arizona is we don't have much of a Fall theatre season because of Marching Band. Lots of marching band competitions in the fall so it doesn't allow to do a fall musical. The result is I get slammed in the spring. Now I could go to Minnesota in the fall but they have a time crunch too in that all the shows are the middle of Oct. thru the middle of Nov. In MN they have two marching band seasons, the summer parade competitions and the fall football field competitions. I can photograph one show a day but then I have to pay for the photos and find people to work the sales table for me. I tied doing three shows in one week before and it almost killed me. The most I can personally shoot would be two shows a week.
