This past weekend, Katie and Katelyn flew out to California to see Abby on Spring Break. I took this opportunity to drive to San Diego this weekend to had dinner with them. A good time was had by all. We had a lot of fun dressing up for an Old Tyme Photo that was taken in Historic Old Town in San Diego. I stayed overnight in my friend Randy's mansion.
On my way back driving near Yuma Arizona, I saw an arrow sign that said "Mexico". I needed a break from driving so I took the exit. Drove a mile down the road, parked my car and walked across the border. Instead of the usual trinkets, the big thing down there are tons of pharmacies, optical stores and dentists. Certainly they do have plenty of trinkets (I bought a belt). The Mexicans are good sales reps for their stuff and they speak perfect english. I'm still amazed by all the drugs the gringos (a little Mexican lingo there) were buying and taking over the border. If you need some PROZAC, I can get you a real good deal (just kidding). So it was a fun weekend trip. At least now I can say I'm an International Traveler.
