Probationary Period

My probationary period at the Arizona Republic is over July 17th. I have my one on one with my boss on lucky Friday the 13th. All indications seem to be that I will finally become a regular employee. We are in a huge slow period right now so not much business going on but then that is the same all around the company. Basically, like January/Feb in MN, everything seems to shut down around here in the summer. It's okay, less traffic, not as many lines in the restaurants with all those whimpy snowbirds back up north. This will not be a good month for business but I'm sure it will improve as we get into "back to school" mode. Keep Lynn in your prayers to keep up her strength and attitude. Also pray that we can sell our home soon so Lynn can be out here this fall.
