Heading to the Morongo Nation

We'll be doing a church on the Morongo Res. It will be interesting to interact with real Indians. Something I've never done much of. My mother grew up on the Res. in Northern MN but was ashamed of her Indian heritage. I think the dysfunction, the depression and the diabetes came from the Indian side of my family. But that's okay. I've been very interested in learning out what it means to be Indian and especially what it means to be Ojibway.
