Lots of school work tomorrow

I've had a tough week at work. So now I have a lot of homework to catch up on for school. Dan and Elaine have decided to break their long standing tradition of going down to Rocky Point in Mexico and camp out on the beach. The folks they go with are a little spooked by the situation in Mexico these days. Instead they will be on the beaches of San Diego. As you know, I love San Diego. Unfortunately if you want to go swimming, the water is too cold. Rocky Point is on the Sea of Cortez so the water is quite warm this time of year. The thing about Mexico that I didn't like when we drove down there was I always had more fear of the cops than the drug lords. The Mexican Police are known for their corruption. The speed limit is so low that no one drives the speed limit so the cops could pull you over any time they want. When they do that, a lot of times they shake you down for money. I've heard a lot of stories. Now, nothing happened to us when we were there, but I was uneasy the whole time. Now, when I was in Canada, it was close enough to America that I felt pretty comfortable. Except when it came to crossing the border where they really put you through the ringer. Actually, there was one more thing I didn't like about Rocky Point, all the bathrooms had signs up telling you not to throw the toilet paper in the toilet. I know that's not the case all over Mexico, but I don't ever recall going any place in America (or Canada for that matter) where they asked you to put your toilet paper in the garbage instead of the toilet.
