Movie Review: "The Book of Eli"
Time for the Arizona Dan movie review. The Book of Eli is an interesting movie. Would I care to see it again...NO! A lot of people will walk away thinking it was a fantastic movie with a strong Christian message. Sadly this is an unfortunate reflection of where we are as a society when a secular movie that barely mentions God and Jesus Christ is considered by some to be "Christian". This was a totally secular movie from the word go that just happens to tell a story about a Bible. But I don't care about the book traveling around, I want to see how that book affects people, how it transforms lives, how it is put into action by people spreading the "Good News" of Jesus Christ. This movie does none of that. If the main character can't even find the words to witness to the side kick it goes to show how this movie misses the mark. In short, this is a "Mad Max" movie with a Bible in it.
