My meeting with Dave Sherman

Dave Sherman is a speaker who is a specialist on networking. I went to see him tonight. He is great, top notch. He has some great advice. If you are looking for a job or building a business, get out of your house and start networking. Get out and meet the people. There are tons on networking groups. As he says, this isn't rocket science, it's all about commonality and likability. I had a rep at the Red Star try to tell me that likability didn't matter in that it was all about facts and figures. It's really not, you could have the greatest product in the world but if they don't like you, it ain't going to happen.
