Volunteering & Why they don't hire

Did some volunteering today. I took head shots for AZJobSeekers.com so people can use the photos on their resume, Facebook or Linkedin account. They always have a good program. The guest speaker passed out some interesting info so I thought I would pass it along. This is based on a survey by Frand S. Endicott, former director of placement of Northwestern University.
HR REASONS FOR NOT OFFERING A JOB (these are my comments)
1. Poor personal appearance (any wonder why the Tattoo removal business is booming)
2. Overbearing, know-it-all attitude (that's not the way I would have said it)
3. Inability to express self clearly: poor voice, diction or grammar
4. Lack of planning for career; no purpose or goals (whatever dude)
5. Lack of confidence and poise
6. Lack of interest and enthusiasm (I don't care, whatever dude)
7. Failure to participate in community and outside activities (I know someone who didn't get into med school because of this)
8. Overemphasis on money: Interested on in best dollar offer (Give me the money)
9. Poor scholastic record: Just got by
10. Unwilling to start at the bottom; expects too much, too soon (I just wanna be the boss soon)
11. Evasiveness, hedges on unfavorable factors in record (It wasn't my fault)
12. Lack of maturity (says who?)
13. Lack of courtesy (the heck with you)
14. Condemnation of past employers (those crooks got me fired)
15. Lack of social understandings
16. Marked dislike of school
17. Lack of vitality (this is boring)
18. Fails to look interviewer in the eye
19. Limp, fishy handshake
20. Indecision (well maybe, maybe not)
21. Talks about personal problems with marriage, family etc. (that's not what my crackhead cousin says)
22. Sloppy application
23. Merely shopping around (nothing wrong with job hopping)
24. Only wants job for a short time
25. Little sense of humor (jobs are serious business, don't smile)
26. Lack of knowledge of field of specialization
27. No interest in company or industry (a job's a job, whatever)
28. Emphasis on who applicant knows
29. Unwillingness to go where sent (You didn't tell me I had to go to California)
30. Cynical (yah, right)
31. Inability to take criticism (that's not true you jerk)
32. Radical ideas (my idea will bring socialism to America)
33. Late to interview without a good reason
34. Never heard of company
35. Failure to express appreciation for interviewers time
36. Asks no questions about the job (I don't have any questions I'm bored, whatever)
37. High-pressure
38. Indefinite response to questions (That might be right but I'm not sure)
