It was interesting seeing snow again but it wasn't up close and personal. If was more in the line of the left over parking lot pile of snow or the snow in the shadows that stays forever. The Grand Canyon was spectacular as usual. It was windy and about 45 degrees so we were cold. Ran into a ton of Minnesotans over the weekend. There's a lot of folks out here on spring break.
On our way back we hit Sedona. Kind of interesting. A lady we ran into said she used to live in Sedona but got tired of all the tourists, the slow traffic, lack of shopping and the silly new agers. They decided to move next door to Cottonwood rather than to keep putting up with everything. It's basically a one street town and in town you always have bumper to bumper traffic. But Sedona is worth seeing because of it's natural beauty even if you don't get into all the new age mumbo jumbo. Get this 72 percent of all the people that go to Sedona say they go there for "spiritual" reasons and it is considered the new age capital of American because of the four big energy vortexes that surround Sedona. Sorry didn't have time to go to a vortex to feel the energy and renew my soul, maybe next time.
PICTURES WILL BE POSTED HERE SOON, SAME BAT TIME, SAME BAT CHANNEL.
