Church was great today....way to go Northridge

The sermon was on the two sides of the fence in Christianity. There's the one side that says once you are saved you can go on living any way you like. Since God will forgive you, why bother living a Godly life? The other side says being saved is all about good works and social justice. You can earn your way to Heaven. Well folks, the truth is, you need to be concerned with both. Yes, God loves you just the way you are but he loves you too much to want to keep you there. Christians have a responsibility to grow in their faith and part of that is to want to be of service to God. Yes, this is an area where I fall down a lot. At our last church I was very involved. Now, not so much. Once we get settled here, with the move and all. It will be time to jump back in to service of some kind.
