So what did I learn?

The three hour seminar went by very fast. Too fast, there was a lot she never got to. I did learn that if you were to only do one of the three social medias, the big dog on the table is Facebook. To prove my point. Here are some Facebook facts:
*350 Million active users with 50 percent of them logging in every day
* 700,000 businesses have Fan Pages
* Those pages have 5.3 Billion Fans
* The average user spends 55 minutes per day on FB
* The average user becomes a fan of 2 pages each month
* 65 Million access FB through a mobile device
Here some usage tips:
* Do not use FB as a way to promote your business, start a Fan Page
* If you use your personal page as a business page you can be kicked off
* When you request a friend, it is always good to say how you know them in the msg.
* When you start getting 1000's of friends it might be a good idea to organize them in different lists
* Also, you are limited to 5000 friends but with a Fan Page you can have unlimited friends.
