This whole Arizona boycott thing is a joke!

The new bill is supported by 70 percent of the state. Why? Because here on the border we see first hand every day the effects of illegal immigration. Medical costs are through the roof; wages are lower because of all the cheap labor; too many legal citizens are going without work while illegals are taking jobs that would normally go to citizens; 30 percent of our criminals are illegals; people are getting killed by Mexican drug runners on the Arizona border; we have the highest kidnapping rate in the country because of all the human smuggling of illegals to drop houses. Given this background, to have our cops not be able to ask if someone was illegal was a much bigger joke than now giving them the authority to do so, as the new law says, "that police check the documents of any individual where reasonable suspicion exists that the person is an alien". All this state is doing is enforcing existing law. We are a very Hispanic state. We love and welcome all Hispanics who are here legally.
