The good old days...
When I talk to folks at work, it's like a broken record playing over and over again. Everyone speaks of the time when they used to make good money and when they had money to spend for the fun of it. As they say, we need to be thankful we have jobs. The size and scope of this recession is alarming. Not only do we have near record unemployment but we have a ton of people making half or less what they used to make a few short years ago. Our government thinks the solution to all of this is to spend and print as much money as they can, all while they take over as much of the private sector as they can. With states going broke the government will work to consolidate it' s power by giving away money with lots of strings attached. It looks like the era of Big Government is just getting started. Hold on to your hats folks, the bumpy ride is not over.
