Greetings from Flagstaff Arizona

As you know, my daughters are out here for a vacation. Sadly, this is a time when life throws you a curveball. Lynn's father, Oliver Usher, passed away yesterday. Since airfare is extremely expensive right now, only Lynn and her sister are flying back to Bismarck, ND. So it's a sad time for all of us in more ways than one. Our daughters are only going to be able to spend two days with their mom and we won't be at the funeral. Sometimes life sucks.

So what should we do? Well me and the girls are going to make the best of it and continue with our trip to see the Grand Canyon. Today we saw the little mining town turned artist colony called Jerome. It's on the side of a mountain and very verticle. So that's it for now. Just remember, when life hands you lemons, go to the Grand Canyon.
