More secrets your studio photographer doesn't want you to know...

Disclaimer: This article does not refer to high quality studios or photographers. They are worth every penny. I'm talking about all the low end photo studios located in the big box retail stores.

Number 2 in the list if secrets your low end studio photographer doesn't want you to know.
2-NO ONE CAN TAKE MORE NATURAL PHOTOS THAN YOU CAN OF YOUR CHILD. When I worked in the studio they always stressed that we create photos that the "DigiMoms" couldn't do. What is this all about? Perspective. When you are out with your camera and child, don't take the same old boring eye level photos. Shoot from different angles. Shoot looking up, shoot looking down, shoot very close up, mid range and far back. Here's an unusual thought, tilt the camera.  Certainly move your child around as well. Having the child turn their back to you and then looking over their shoulder was one of the most popular poses I did. Also, your greatest asset is the comfort level of your child, use that to your advantage to take fantastic natural photos. Remember...perspective.
