The AC on my car has been acting up. But strangely, when the car is on the roof of the parking ramp in the hot sun, it doesn't work worth a damn. But when I can park in the shade of the 2nd floor of the ramp, it works fine. Go figure? It's almost like if doesn't like the 140 degrees in the car for some reason. So I'll be getting up early for work just so I can secure the much coveted 2nd floor shaded spot.
Looks like Ben Quayle is leading for Congressional District 3. Of the ten guys in the primary, he was the least qualified. But he had the stones to be very bold in his last few ads. They started out, "President Obama is the worst president in our history...", now that takes guts. But he was able to tap into the anti-Obama vote. As of this writing, the race is too close to call so Quayle could still lose but you got to give him credit for being able to break from the pack and get noticed.
Will this carry well in the general election? Maybe. Unless the economy turns around these next two months, the Democrats will suffer heavy losses. As they should. So what happens then? So much has been done already to bring down this country I'd be happy with a do nothing congress. It might be the only way to stop the spending. If the Republicans control the House, Obama will veto all their bills. Plus Obama won't be able to complete his agenda. Putting the breaks on Obama, as far as I'm concerned, is a victory for the country.
