I really like the chances for the Minnesota Twins to win it all!

Delmon YoungImage via WikipediaDon't look now but the Twins are closing in on the best record in the American League. The home field advantage will be a great help. If the Twins make it to the series it will be chilly in downtown Mpls. in October, no doubt about it. But it certainly can't be any worse than it was for the Colorado Rockies. The most amazing thing about the Twins is all season long they've had a ton of injuries and the guys they called up to fill in have been nothing short of great. This is right now the deepest team in baseball. Denard Span and Delmon Young and Michael Cuddyer have been the only starters that have not lost time due to injury. Only two of their starting pictures have escaped injury (Liranio and Pavano) and two out of the three all stars have have had extensive time off due to injuries (Morneau and Nathan).  Jim Thome has been fantastic. Delmon Young is having his best year ever. And the Twins have found a third baseman and an extra outfielder that they never had last year. It's still not over yet, but the Twins are in great shape right now.
