Image via Wikipedia Ran into a few guys who were very informative. It's amazing who God puts in your path some days. One guy has been on various Arts Boards and the other has experience setting up non-profits. Both seemed to think I should make Show Biz Photo into a non-profit and then try to get Arts grants. If I were able to do that, I could then be full time with Show Biz Photo. In looking things over, there is a ton of grants out there for starving photographers like me. Especially ones that work with the field of education. In any event, it's a long process doing exactly the kind of work I hate...micro detailed paperwork. Now I think the idea is great but it is something I'm not going to be able to do by myself and I'm sure it will be expensive. On the one hand, this could be the thing that I've been looking for all along. On the other is could be just another long and expensive rabbit hole I'd be chasing through. Bottom line, I will need help to do this. Anyone out there with experience in the area of non-profits or grants?
