Image via WikipediaBrother-in-law Dan is in training to take on the 26 mile hike from the south side of the Grand Canyon to the North side in one day. Now that is ambitious but he can do it. I guess by sticking to the main path there are water stops along the way so then don't have to carry 20 gallons of water. Then they are going to hike over to Havissupi falls. I'm too old to make a trip like this but I would like to take the helicopter down into the canyon and walk the three miles to the falls and then take the helicopter out. Some day I think I will do that. But I'm always worried when I say that. As they say in the Music Man, "You pile up too many tomorrows and you wind up with one empty yesterday."
