As they say, the four most powerful words in networking are: "How can I help?" Everyone tries to get to know as many folks as they can so they can help each other to grow business during these dark economic times. The number one rule about networking is NEVER lead with your business card. That is a big no no. Talk to people first and see how you can help each other then if it looks like it might work out, share your business cards with each other.
