Image by Al_HikesAZ via FlickrGot to go to the most beautiful resort in all the valley (In My Humble Opinion). The Phoenician is also one of the top destination resorts in the nation as well. I went to the political social event, "Politics on the Rocks" and got to see some of the candidates up close and personal. I also got to see my friend "Miss Arizona" who happens to be a solid Republican. The event was held in the new 45 million dollar ballroom. Even though I didn't know anyone, it was good to go because how else do you get to know people. It was fun but I made one mistake, I ordered a drink. Being it was the Phoenician, I new it wasn't going to be cheap, but I sure didn't think one Margarita would cost me $11.50!!!! But it is a 5 Star Resort so I guess that's what it takes to be there. The campus of the Phoenician is unbelievable! I would have loved to see it in the day.
