Quail Hunting

Image by pocketwiley via FlickrHad a good day quail hunting. Lots of shooting going on. Unfortunately, we were able to only find one bird. It's tough out there folks. We are in the middle of the desert on the side of a mountain and when you drop a bird, it falls in sage bush and most likely, you'll never find it. For all the shooting, I really don't think we shot that many. Maybe three birds total. But it was fun to get out in the fresh cool air and get some exercise. Before we left at 9AM I did poke around in a few stores so it was fun. Of course all the major stuff when to the folks waiting out line. I'm told there was a fight in the line when some big mouth guy try came in at the last minute to intimidate the people in the front and letting him cut in front. I guess the police had to be called to settle the situation. Merry Christmas.
