Just training myself for tomorrow's late night

Grease (musical)Image via WikipediaI will be photographing the show "Grease" which is always a great time. The kids love performing it. Who better to play high school kids than high school kids? This show is always a fan favorite no matter where they do it. The things to watch for 1-do they edit the song "Grease Lightning"?  2- do they use the phrase "knocked up"? 3-Did they do a good job casting Eugene and Cha Cha? How well do the do on the dance scenes? 4-Do they use a real car for "Grease Lightning" or do they use some cheap cardboard car? These are things that are always different in "Grease". This will be performed by Chandler High School and they always do a great job.

I did "Grease" for Columbia Heights High School a few years back and the star, Danny Zuko became ill. So what did they do? They had him sing backstage and then grabbed the guy from the sound booth to play Danny on the stage. He would lip sync the songs and whenever he dropped a line someone would say something and cover for him. On the dance scenes he would start out and then kind of dance his way off the stage. Now if you didn't know all this was going on, you may not have noticed, they did a good job pulling it off.
