Image via WikipediaI'm starting to get other photographer nationally, ask me about how I do Show Biz Photo. On the surface I like to think that if I can do this successfully, others can too. However, now that I'm writing down all that I do, it's a big task. It takes me 25 hours of work per show to do what I do. That's just shooting the show and printing stuff and selling my product. That's to say nothing about the actual photography part which is perhaps the hardest part. Most photographer's hate theatre because the light is different on every part of the stage and then it changes with the scene. I guess, I've always loved what I do so I don't think of it as work. I've loved it enough to be willing to photograph over 200 shows and get really good at it. Does your average photographer have that level of commitment? I don't know. Is the information I have worth enough for others to want to pay for it? I don't know.
