Deep Fried Turkey

A deep-fried turkey.Image via WikipediaThis was the first time we had a turkey cooked in oil.   I think it was great because it wasn't as dry. The other family members liked it baked in the over because they like the smell of the turkey as it fills the house and they couldn't use the juice for the gravy.  Of the three ways, baked, fried and smoked. I'd have to say smoked is the best.  Also if you get the chance to hunt turkey, wild turkey is the best. It's all dark meat and not as dry as domestic turkey.
