If you remember correctly, their are a number of web sites on the Internet where you can list a proposal for a project. If people like the project they donate money to the project. It's totally free money so why not do it, right?I'm going to ask for enough money to publish my two theatrical photography books so I have 600 copies of each book. I then want to take those books on the road to theatre teacher conferences and the thespian society festivals where I will give out 100 books at each show to get them into the hands of teachers who will be able to defray the cost of putting on a show by using the Show Biz Photo method to raise money on the sale of show photos.
So I will need money to publish 1200 books and money for booth space, air fare, rental car and hotels. I will be attending conferences in San Diego, Texas, Flordia, Minneapolis, Arizona and the National Thespian Society Festival this June in Lincoln, Neb.
And here's the best part, for those who donate $2500 or more, I will personally come out to their town and photograph a show and sell the photos and give every dime to the school theatre. That's not all, I will teach people how to take the photos and sell the photos so that schools can make up to $2500 on the sale of the photos each and every year. What a deal. I've done the video so I'll try to have that up within the next few days. I'll keep you informed since I'm sure many of you will want to contribute.
