The Weather

The weather out here is great. In the 70's during the day and 50 at night. I'm told that from the middle of May to the middle of Sept it is very hot down here. So that means we have at the most five very hot months and seven great months. In Minnesota we five great months (may-sept) and seven winter months. I'll make that trade any day. Two things I certainly will have to learn to do. 1. Drink lots of water. 2. Put on sun block lotion. The comical part of all this is when it gets down to 50-60 degrees down here, out come the down parkas. I'm NOT KIDDING! They say your blood thins out down here and makes you colder. They also say the heat in the summer keeps the riff-raff out. Seems to me we say the same thing about winter. The very best part of all of the is 300 plus days of SUN! No more going for weeks without seeing the sun. Your attitude shouldn't be reliant on the sun, but it sure does help. Just call me Mr. Sunshine.
