Before I put my family history stuff away. I have a ton of stuff collected from my grandmother and cousins. Thankfully we've had people who have done a lot of work to find out all this stuff. On my father's side, we can trace his side back to as far as 1795. On my mother's side we can trace the Bohemian's back to 1632. Again on my mother's side I can trace the Indian/Canadian side back to 1849. My grandfather Albin, who was the youngest son, came over to this country with his new bride to meet up with his two older brothers, August and Klaus. So August and Klaus were the ones who got the name changed from Andersson to Rosenberg. August, Klaus and Albin did have one brother and two sisters over in Sweden so we do have cousins still living there.
On the Chippewa side we had a Villburne and Burnett get married on the Rez so I'm not sure which one was Indian and which one was French-Canadian. I do know that they had 14 children and only seven lived. My grandmother's family was counted in the 1880 census.
