Tornado Season in Minnesota

Sorry to see the loss of life from the tornadoes in MN. As much as I loved Minnesota summers, I've always hated the storms that summer would bring. When it was storming outside, I can't ever say I slept very well. Now if I was asleep before the storms, I usually wouldn't hear them unless there was a very loud bang of thunder. I work with two folks from Minnesota. David said he's going back to go to the State Fair. For all my years in Minnesota, it wasn't until later in life that got to go to the fair and I really enjoyed it and wished I had gone more often. I think the first two times I went there was to work as a volunteer in the Republican booth. If at all possible, Lynn and I would sure like to make it out there this summer. So we'll see how I do in making my commissions I guess.

Our monsoon season hits us towards the end of July and runs through August. No tornadoes usually (although possible) but we have plenty of strong winds and lots of rain. Living in the desert, people just love thunder storms and rain and get all excited about watching it unfold. Me, I really don't care, been there done that.
