Review of the TV show "Heartland"

Heartland (Canadian TV series)Image via WikipediaSometimes I think I'm the only one watching this show but if you see it on TV, record it. Not since "The Waltons" have I had the pleasure of viewing such a great family show. After seeing TV shows with rude and crude comedians, sexed up teens, endless car chases, shoot 'em ups and aliens galore, it is so nice to see a family show where you care about the characters and the relationships being built and not have to put up with all the other crap. Heartland is fast becoming my favorite TV series.

Check out the office "Wikipeda" history.

Heartland is a Canadian television drama series which debuted on CBC Television on October 14, 2007. The series is loosely based on the Heartland books by Lauren Brooke.
Set against the vistas of the Alberta Rocky Mountains, Heartland is a family drama following sisters Amy and Lou Fleming and their grandfather Jack Bartlett through the highs and lows of life on a horse ranch. Amy and Lou's mother was killed in a car accident. Amy and Lou continue to keep her mother's dream alive by healing abused and neglected horses.
Currently in its fourth season, CBC announced on February 11, 2011 that the show has been renewed for an upcoming fifth season. In the US, gmc is showing Heartland from Season 1.

Since we are only seeing season 1 here in the states. It's good to know I have four more seasons to watch this show. This is the best thing imported from Canada since "Canada Dry".  For more information on the show go to :  www.theheartlandranch.com
