Image by Kristal Kraft ~ DenverDwellings via FlickrI've been working in a new department since October. It is very, very busy all the time (which I like). I think I'm starting to get up to speed and I feel good about the change. As Forest Gump would say..."and that's all I have to say about that." Excuse me while I put on my campaign consultant hat...Okay two weeks before the election. Time for all the "dirty tricks" and the "October surprise". If you thought the mud was flying before, you ain't seen nothing yet. It's weird but by now most people know who they are going to vote for and won't change their vote. The strategy is they are trying to pick up a few fence sitters and independents who have yet to decide because supposedly independents win elections. Well this election is going to be different. The independents have already made their choice and it is not going to be nice to most incumbents. The House will change hands and the Senate is in play. A lot of damage has been done and who knows what a lame duck congress will do. It's going to be hard to get rid of all the socialistic changes but if we can just stop the government from spending us into oblivion, that alone will be huge progress. And really, the battle isn't for Nov. 2. It starts Nov. 3rd.
