Just back from Las Vegas

Hotel Las Vegas HiltonImage via WikipediaIt's been quite the three days here. On Thursday I was at a networking luncheon I won a free ticket to a two day Internet Marketing Seminar. Only thing was, it started Friday at 9AM. and it was in Vegas. Well, it's only one tank of gas to go to Vegas and back and hotel rates are really cheap these days, so I left Thursday around 6PM.  I got in around Midnight but I didn't get to my room until 2PM.  I stayed at the Imperial Palace on The Strip. The seminar was at the Las Vegas Hilton a short monorail ride away.

I would have to say, it was the best seminar I've ever been to. Lots of information and they laid out a plan that makes perfect sense to me. It won't be easy but I think it can work. Was this a life changing seminar? I don't know, my life hasn't changed, yet. I'll keep you posted on that.

But here's a story that got me thinking. One of the speakers, Debbie Allen, said she went white water rafting in the Grand Canyon. A very popular vacation thing to do. But guess what, you have to still walk up and out of the canyon. She said it was one of the hardest things she's ever had to do and the thing is...you have to walk out of it. You just can't quit. You have no choice but to take one step at a time and walk out no matter how long it takes.  So the question is:  What could you accomplish in your life if you knew you couldn't give up?
